Limited Open Enrollment (Out-of-District Transfer – Not Employees)
Limited Open Enrollment is for out-of-district families living in the greater Houston area and are interested in attending Alief ISD schools.
If you are living inside of the Alief ISD boundary and need to register, please visit Enroll. The application link is only for zoned families.
Parents of students living outside the Alief ISD attendance boundaries will have an opportunity to apply to enroll their children in selected Alief ISD schools for the school year through the Limited Open Enrollment Program.
The program will help Alief ISD because state funding is based on enrollment. For each additional student enrolled in Alief ISD, the district retains more of its local tax revenue, which in turn will help the district support its maintenance and operations, as well as continue to build innovative programs and retain highly qualified staff.
